Olton Osteopathy has been operating from our premises on Kineton Green Road since 2016, and we’ve established ourselves as one of the finest practices in the area (our Testimonials bear this out!). But, we’ve always been about more than just Osteopathy, so late last year we realised we had a decision to make…

Rosi and I had for some time been thinking about what direction to take the practice. Although Rosi is a qualified Osteopath, her treatment approach is non-dogmatic and highly practical; what matters is getting the right result in a way that makes the patient comfortable and satisfied. That’s meant that as well as offering Osteopathy, we’ve also offered physiotherapy, massage and several other disciplines.

The problem we had was that our branding didn’t convey this. You wouldn’t necessarily expect to find exercise-based rehabilitation programmes at an Osteopathy clinic! On the other hand, changing your brand without affecting your customer base can be hard; people who are looking for Osteopathy may not think Olton Health and Performance offers that discipline.

On balance, we decided that it made sense to broaden our brand and make it more reflective of what we offer. Not only is it not just rubbing backs, it’s not just Osteopathy – our clinic is here to help people get back to doing what they love, better than they thought possible, in whatever way is most effective. That could mean osteopathic intervention, or it could mean a strength and conditioning plan, or sports massage, or dry needling; whatever it takes to get the right outcome for our clients.

At the same time as rebranding, we also decided to do some work on our premises to expand our capacity; we now have two treatment rooms, as well as a separate waiting area with an accessible toilet, automated check-in and comfortable seating. We’re not saying you’re going to be kept waiting, but if it’s raining in January and you’re a few minutes early then you don’t have to sit in your car – if you’re even in one!
